I drew this during Miss Rushton's 4th hour notehand class (obviously not art class!).
It depicts John Edwards and myself on a lunchtime visit to Gus' Coneys. The "honions"
reference is from the way Gus' sister, Mary, pronounced "onions". The "It's Honion
Doody Time" in the title refers to us singing that phrase over and over again to the
"Howdy Doody Show" theme song while on our way to Gus'.
