In the vicinity of Mr. Ward’s birthday, several dozen of the Children of the Weird One
gathered in Tulsa for a breakfast celebration.
Knew they it or not, every student of Mr. Ward attended in spirit.
Mr. Ward is as one of those super-heavy stars, warping all of our orbits in the
direction of a better life.
I Broke Old Clyde’s Head For Nothing.
I recall that saying, even though I don’t recall what it means.
I do recall: Mr. Ward taught us chemistry, the physical subject, and, by the example
of his life, he taught us the chemistry of being good and kind people, as he is.
Mr. Ward is a chemist, and an alchemist of goodness.
